Jew, Yemeni of Israel
The immigration of the majority of Jews into Yemen appears to have taken place about the beginning of the second century AD. With the advent of Islam in the 7th century, the political status of Jews underwent a radical change for the worse. The Jews lived under difficult conditions in Yemen for many centuries, and many have now returned to Israel.
The apostle Paul spoke of the veil over the eyes of the Jews. This veil continues to be a serious obstacle to understanding.
The Messianic Jews of Israel are well positioned to carry the Gospel to the Yemeni Jews, but they need our prayer support.
There are few known Messianic Jews among the Yemeni Jews of Israel, but pray there will soon be growing numbers. Pray these Jewish believers will be zealous to know and serve Jesus.
Pray the veil will be lifted from the eyes of the Yemeni Jews that prevent them from recognizing the Messiah that has been sent.
"Since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 18:18
